The supply of goods by Glasses Galore adheres to, and is governed by the Sale of goods Act 1979 and subject to and governed by United Kingdom law.
Your contract is made with Specs Express/Glasses Galore Ltd) trading as ''.
Your order and acceptance of the Terms & Conditions will constitute a legal agreement. Our acceptance of this order and delivery of the goods will form a legal binding contract between yourself and Glasses Galore.

Supply of Goods

The products on our site are displayed as accurately as possible.
All products are sold subject to availability. If the item you order is not in stock we will advise you of any delays with an option to cancel your order.

All of our frames and lenses have a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty protecting you if the frame fails or the lens coatings fail. 


Prescription orders

Where glasses require a prescription, the recipient must be over the age of 16 years.

We are unable to supply glasses to customers who are registered blind or partially sighted.
If ordering with a prescription, the prescription must be correct & supplied by a registered ophthalmic optician completed within the last two years.

If we have any concern or queries about your product selection and/or prescription, our technicians will contact you to discuss your order.
Glasses Galore recommend that you request your optician provide you with your pupillary distance (PD) before ordering. If you are unable to provide your PD, we use an appropriate average pupillary distance 'PD' to complete your order.


All prices will include VAT at 20%
Price displayed on our web site or literature are correct at the time of display.
We reserve the right to alter prices or withdraw offers from time to time without prior notice. The price paid at checkout for the corresponding goods will always be honoured. 


All payment for orders is in pounds sterling only.



Where products are in stock dispatch is between 5-7 working days.

Please ensure you supply the correct delivery details when placing any order.

All goods will be delivered to addresses in the United Kingdom.
Prices displayed on our web site exclude Postage & Packaging. Options are given at checkout & on the Delivery page.


Cancellation & Returns

Distance Selling regulations apply to all online orders. This means that you have the right to cancel an order that is not custom made (non-prescription sunglasses or frames with no lenses) up to 7 days from receiving your order. If the item is custom made (prescription glasses/ sunglasses) then the cancellation period is 24 hours from the order being placed. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Your order will be carefully inspected before being dispatched and we hope you will be totally satisfied with the order. Upon receiving your order please check it carefully. In the rare event your order is damaged please inform us as soon as possible within 7 days of receipt by phone or email. If returning items, the product must reach us within 30 days from the date of dispatch printed on your dispatch note/invoice. 


All returns must be in original condition and with all accessories (e.g. cloths, cases, etc). When we receive the return, wherever possible, we will despatch an identical product as soon as possible.


Changed your mind?

If for any reason your new glasses are not what you expect we have a 'no quibble' 14 day return or exchange policy. 

Please note that this doesn’t cover:

  • Orders requiring a prescription
  • Incorrect prescription entry
  • Supply of incorrect pupil distance measurements
  • Change in prescription before the recommended recall date
  • Loss/ theft of order in transit
  • Accidental damage by you

All returns must be in original condition and with all accessories (e.g. cloths, cases, etc).


Faulty or wrong item

Your order will contain written confirmation of the product & prescription you provided when your order was placed.


If you feel that the product supplied and/or does not match the prescription ordered, please contact us immediately by phone or email. In the rare event that this might occur, we will normally request you return your order within 7 days of receipt so that we can verify the product and/or prescription.


If an error on our part has been made either by you receiving an incorrect product or in the construction of your lenses, we will rectify the problem and send the corrected product to you within 7 days. If for any reason, we cannot rectify the problem, we will offer you a full refund including P&P.


If the error has been made by you, we will accept return of your order and replace the product and/or lenses. If you provided an incorrect prescription you will need to provide a revised correct prescription before we can re-send your order. Normal P&P costs will apply.
